Domino Demolition & Re-Construction
We owe a debt of gratitude to fellow members for their hard work in the demolition, construction and finishing up on the restrooms. First and foremost, thank you to Maureen Wuestmann for spearheading the job, ordering the supplies, designing the rooms and keeping the project on budget. On April 2, a crew came down to bring the rooms down to the studs to ready it for rebuilding. The crew consisted of: Karl Balk, Donna Boulin, Rob Boulin, John Caperna, Nelson Champlin, Tom Coonerty, Tom Egan, Christine Forsythe, Scott Popovitch, Kevin McCoy, Tim Ryan, Ben Spampinato and Warren Swensen. They did a fabulous job to prepare for the makeover! On Monday, April 3rd, James Ringer and crew came in and transformed our old outdated bathrooms into really lovely rooms. James finished the work and the Tom Coonerty came in and painted the rooms. Howie Niebling, our House Chairman, was there daily over-seeing the entire operation. The result of all the hard work is evident! The rooms have both been "christened" and feedback has been all positive!
The Sunday Crew
The Sunday Crew got a head start on Tom Sawyer Day. They started sprucing up the south side of clubhouse to ready it for painting.
I guess this is what happens when there is no football, hockey, NASCAR, etc!
Thanks boys for your hard work - and thanks Tom Coonerty for the pictures!
